Sometimes I simply open the Bible and randomly point to a section to study. You open your Bible to whatever reading you’re working on. This method can be used with any daily Bible reading plan. The SOAP method or S.O.A.P for short is used for Bible reading to help you go beyond the words and instead apply scripture to your life. The SOAP method (S.O.A.P) is one of the common ways to read your bible, but there are other ones too which are discussed later in this article. It really depends on the patience of your audience how many times you should read through it.There are several methods to read and understand your Bible. You can also split this step up: read the passage a second time for observation, and a third time for application. Read the passage through again, slowly, and ask them to draw any observations and applications that they can draw from the passage, using the questions above.
